| | how could i? i'v since thrown them away for some eco-friendly alternatives... | | out of concern for the health of my children, i recently made a check on the household products we use to clean our homes. i was appalled to find out and how could i have not noticed that some of these contain toxins and pollutants which are both harmful to our health as well as the environment. i'v since thrown them away and am looking for some eco-friendly alternatives which are safer, greener and perhaps cheaper. anything to share my dear myLotters. appreciated very much!:) | |

| | would you buy products from an eco-enterprise? | | i would like to throw this question to you guys, would you buy products from an eco-enterprise?i have met someone who owns and eco-enterprise. an eco-enterprise is a business that is concerned about the environment that is why their materials and processes are eco=friendly. they are also fair wage givers and they not only give livelihood to the people in their community but they get fair wages and even great benefits.they produce really good quality home wares, furnishings, gift items and other stuff made of indigenous materials. the problem is, their wares are a bit pricey for the local market. they are good for export though. many foreigners really like their products because of the superb craftsmanship. and of course, they are a company with a heart.if i can afford it, i would really like to buy their products because i know that the owner is not out to enrich himself but to help other people. i know that if i buy their products and promote them, i am helping people and their families. however, at this point, i am also cash strapped and every penny that comes in is valuable. i could not afford to splurge on the luxury items that they sell. my money goes mainly... | |

| What can you do to be Eco friendly? | | What it means to be eco-friendly? For me, doing things that can help save the environment for the benefit of the present and future generation. By making a better place to live in for the entire human race (popular line taken from the song heal the word of MJ). What can I do in my own little ways?
- By supporting eco-friendly foods and products which are naturally organic in nature such as fruits and vegetables. Buying Products that has recycle label.
- By not littering anywhere.
- By planting plants and trees. Can you add more? Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
| | New Brick Making Machine Eco and Green to the world | | Brick Making Machine make bricks without baking the bricks, it's quite environmental freindly. All kinds of flyash, sands and things alike can be used as materials and come out of them are strong enough than the traditional clay brick. Hope all traditional brick factories can use this kind of new brick machine to protect environment from being polluted. | |
| | Do you think festivals affect the eco-system? | | We celebrate many different festivals. We have different ways of celebrating our festivals. However, knowingly or unknowingly, we tend to do rituals which make a negative effect on the environment.
We burn fire crackers which creates sound and air pollution. We play loud music or band which causes sound pollution again.
and the list goes on...
Do you think that the festivals we celebrate actually have a negative inpact on the Eco-System? Or do you think its completely allright to hurt the environment in the name of festivals?
